This algaecide is used to control the growth of algae in swimming pools, spas, whirlpools, hot tubs, and decorative fountains. For maximum effectiveness pools, spas, whirlpools, hot tubs, containing heavy growth of algae should be cleaned prior to using this algaecide.
When using other products in conjuction with this product, follow the instuctions on those products. NEVER mix different products together in the same bottle or pail. Always add this product directly lto water with the pool pump on . Clean the pool filter as necessary following the manufacturer's instructions for backwashing or using a filter cleaning solution. Adjust pH of pool water to the ideal range of 7.4-7.6. In pools sanitized with chlorine, adjust stabilizer levels toi 30-50 ppm. Maintain available chlorine levels in the range of 1-3 ppm.
For pools having just visible algae growth add an inital dose of 24-36 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water and remove settled algae debris by cleaning. For treatment of a freshly cleaned and filled pool add initailly 13-24 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of 4-9 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water should be made every 5-7 days after initial treatment for maintenance
Spas, whirlpools, hot tubs having just visible algae growth require an initail dose of 2-4 fluid ounces of algaecide per 1,000 gallons of water. For treatment of freshly cleaned spa, whirlpool, hot tub add initially 1-2 fluid ounces of algaecide per 1,000 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of 0.5 to 0.8 fluid ounces of algaecide should be made every 5-7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.
This algaecide is compatible with those chemicals normally used to treat pools and spas and is effective at both acid and alkaline pH. This algaecide can be used in pools and spas treated with chlorine chemicals and may reduce the amount of those chemicals normally required. However, do not mix this algaecide with concentrated dry or liquid chlorine products.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS: Caution harmful if swallowed. Avoid breathing vapors. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing.

If SWALLOWED: Call a poison Control Center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have persojn sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the Poison Control Center or doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.
IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for further treatment.
IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes. then continue rinsing eye. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.
